Hitting the Skate Scene Featuring Five Decrepit New Designs
What's New with Corpsehustler?
Working with Nailjar Records for our first five available designs:
Things have been going slowly, but the dream is still alive! Several months back we were contacted by Nailjar Records to see if we'd be willing to collaborate on some designs featuring their artists. Also to feature designs by the owner of the companies Skate-Grind band.
This seemed like a natural match to me. Nailjar Records is also based in Wisconsin, and they are just getting started although they already have deals worked out with some awe inspiring artists. Would the artwork fit the Corpsehustler vision though?
An obvious yes! Although were so excited to find the laundry list of amazing artists to do our original concepts, sometimes something amazing falls into your lap. This is really a great thing for Corpsehustler as it lets us showcase our vision and also get some decks available sooner so skaters can see just what kind of quality decks they are.
Pre-Order?
If you go to the site and browse the deck details pages you will find paypal buttons to preorder each design in one of four different sizes. 7.75, 7.8, 8.0, and 8.25. Why preorder? This is the only time that we will offer a "Preorder". Were just getting our start and hope to reach 20 decks pre-ordered to match Nailjars order and get our start. You can help a Unique American Company get it's start. Not only are we an American Original our decks are made 100% in the USA. Once we have some sample decks to show off finding our initial investors will help us take off. This also helps us get decks in the hands of Sly, and Ethan our very first flow sponsored riders. For now the designs are only available in shortboard taper shape, but as soon as we can take off pool shapes, and longboards will follow.
Decks Available at Corpsehustler and Nailjar Records:
Cannibal Accident : Artwork by Olli Hihnala
Siftercide : 2 Designs featuring artwork by Karl Dahmer. The third design is the Siftercide Logo Deck.
Skateboarding, Music, and Art is a natural marriage:
One of the things that excites me personally about skateboarding and is one major reason for starting a new brand of skateboards is the way music (when you consider skate videos), art, and skateboarding have always fit together. I hope that the industry gives Corpsehustler a chance to show that it's decks can stand up to a beating so we can work more with the artists that have done the Nailjar Licensed designs and continue to sponsor young hopeful skateboarders.
What do you think of the designs?
Please comment and let us know as well if your a brand loyal skateboarder, or you'd be willing to shop around and skate a deck with graphics you like. What is the biggest influence to you when you pick out a deck?

The quest for the perfect Skate Video Soundtrack: Extreme Music and Underground Album Reviews Vol. 1
Kataklysm - In the arms of devastation - 2006, Nuclear Blast Kataklysm on Metal Storm
Listening to this cd my first time my first impression was that it had all the etchings of a death metal classic. Relentlessly heavy with some really nice original riffs that kept my head bobbing to the rhythm and looking forward to what heaviness each new song would bring. Progressing through the tracks I dug the vocals on this entire album, there is alot of variety and range of vocal styles, as well as musical technicality wrapped into each song. It's no wonder why this band has been going strong with the Nuclear Blast label since the early nineties.
They still bring some sick ass heavy music for mine ears to dine on, even though I haven't listened to a release of theirs since "Mystical Gate of Reincarnation", of which I've owned since my late teens. This album makes me want to go back and catch up on all that I possibly missed with this loathsome foursome. They really keep their ground breaking old school sound and stay with the times as far as death metal goes on this one considering the release is almost seven years old.
I give Kataklysm's "In the arms of devastation" 7 out of 10 Dead Hookers of those seven, six dead hookers come with a heating pad each, the seventh comes with a bottle of KY warming liquid. This album will be will be worked into my listening rotation heavily.

I am personally setting out to find a soundtrack to my upcoming skate videos featuring the best underground music I can find from many genre's. If you want to have your album reviewed you can send a disc to:
Deranged Brain LLC, DBA Corpsehustler
PO BOX 259521
Madison, WI 53725
I am also writing a screenplay to produce into a Goru Manga Anime Cartoon which will be interspersed in between skate footage on my skate videos. This will set Corpsehustler's videos apart to any others in the industry and hopefully help bring the love of skateboarding to a whole new audience!
Skate and Enjoy!!!
Shout Out to Sly Sullivan! Corpsehustler's very first flow rider!

8 Year old skater Lawrence Has his new complete skateboard...
Update as of July 19th 2012:I finally broke down and ordered a set of hardware for the steazy lil lawrence, my supergrommet! Yesterday evening I helped him and about four or five of his friends set up the complete skateboard. I personally love to set up skateboards and also the feeling of riding a brand new deck is phenomenal!
Lawrence's reaction was "This must be my luckiest day!" Also when he was alone with me on the stoop of my apartment building he said " I really appreciate you getting me a skateboard." The look on his face the first time he test rode it was priceless.
His setup is now as follows. A corpsehustler blank 7.75 inch Necro-pop concave shortboard taper deck. 52mm blank black wheels which are the same I ride. Havoc 5.0 trucks in silver, and black. Black Diamond Grip tape. TGM mounting hardware. Bullseye Abec 9 bearings. It looked so sweet, and he was so wound up when he rode it that he could barely land an ollie.
I didn't do it for any selfish reason other than I love to share skateboarding. I also live in a low income neighborhood in Madison Wisconsin.
When he comes back to borrow a deck for his buddies I'll be sure to make a video of him skating his brand new board and post it here. Stay tuned!
To the few haters on Reddit.com who think I am trying to grow too big too fast... I ask you this, why the hell would you bother being negative and shitting on anyones dreams? I made a post in r/skateboarding introducing my first graphic and the usual reddit dickweeds appeared in full force to downvote and downtrod as they usually do. There must be plenty more who liked what they saw or didn't say anything at all like normal nice human beings do because my website had over 200 unique visitors from Reddit alone. Haters are going to hate, and growing a thick skin is part of starting any business. There will be critics, and naysayers. I urge everyone to follow your dreams and disregard these keyboard critics that spend their precious time trolling everything they don't agree with instead of concentrating on what enhances their own life. I started this project to make a difference in the world one skater at a time and if I fail from here on out at least I helped lil Lawrence get his own skateboard. I don't think the boy has had anything brand new in his entire life. Thanks to any of you who may have even considered helping out. I still need to make sure he gets safety gear, but at least he's riding.
Check out my first own original skateboard graphic here!

"The Tony Hawk Foundation seeks to foster lasting improvements in society, with an emphasis on supporting and empowering youth. Through special events, grants, and technical assistance, the Foundation supports recreational programs with a focus on the creation of public skateboard parks in low-income communities. The Foundation favors programs that clearly demonstrate that funds received will produce tangible, ongoing, positive results."
Corpsehustler Skateboards will donate a percentage of it's profits the The Ryan Christopher Maki Foundation. In turn The RCM Foundation will donte to The Tony Hawk Foundation to Assist their effort To Stand Up for Skate Parks. It may seem obsurd for a Start Up Company that has not even raised seed money to be talking about "Donating Profits", but a major function of starting a Midwest Skateboard Brand was to be able to make a difference in Skateboarders Lives. A positive Difference. Currently we are raising seed money, and have high and lofty goals.
Who is Ryan Christopher Maki?
Ryan Christopher Maki, was affectionately Known by his many loving friends as "Maki". He was a big hearted gentle giant, and was thought of highly by every person he ever met. A hardworking butcher by trade, who was an avid Death Metal Music enthusiast. He had the largest home stereo set up I personally had ever seen. He had a collection of over 200 death metal CDs. Maki would also probably want me to mention his love of Mexican food. He often described himself as "Part Mexican" to which I'd reply "Yeah your lower intestine and bowels".
He was a very generous person that would always help a friend in need. Although he was not famous he was a legend in the Madison Wisconsin Area for his wild parties, and his harmless demeanor. Maki was the best friend I had in the world, and the only other friend I had that still loved Death Metal. He also was an avid Skateboard Fanatic. When Maki and I first met Skateboarding was the common thread that founded our friendship.
Maki and I had more than just skateboarding in common. Both of us were children of single mothers. Both of our fathers were not a part of our lives. Maki was someone who understood the demented sickness of my sense of humor and also always was straight forward with me. He was one of the most honest people I have ever known.
If Ryan Maki were alive today he would be my right hand man in the formation of Corpsehustler Skateboards. I know he would see the heart of my vision, and support me 100%, even loaning me money if I needed to make it come true. Also I am sure he would be behind the meaning of Corpsehustler Skateboards. Not only the goal to have the worlds most extreme horror skateboard graphics. But also the goal of making the difference in the lives of today’s skateboarding youth as well as a positive environmental impact.
Maki's friends were shocked at the passing of this amazing and unique soul in May of 2011. Although Maki was not famous, the world is a dimmer place without him in it to make the rest of us smile and be in awe of his winning demeanor. More than once have I contemplated my hope that Maki was reincarnated into the body of my Son James, II. I guess I'll find out if when I ask him to clean up his room before he can go to the skate park if a majority of the mess is Taco wrappers.
R.I.P. Ryan Christopher Maki 1979 - 2011. I promise never to let you be forgotten my brother from another single mother!
